This place is full of incompetent hipsters. I brought my broken (hardware broken) iPhone 7 into this store and was being helped by a clown by the name of Zach. He was more worried about what was going on around him then helping us. When i asked him a question he would look at me like he was confused about where he was or what his name was. I told him he was arrogant, and he pouted and ran off and told his manager that i was calling him names (big crybaby). when his manager Caleb Haughee came over he instantly accused me of name calling. When i told him the issue he pretty much told me since i was JUST out of warranty he couldn't/wouldn't help me. I asked him if apple only makes phones to last a year and he looked at me like a dear in the headlights, maybe because he was a soul less ginger (i'm a ginger also). I left the store and called apple, told them what happened with the phone, and what do you know....they are sending me a replacement at no cost. He said that store manager must hate his job (if i was 45 years old and worked with a bunch of man bun skinny jean wearing millennials, i would probably hate life also). I will urge anyone to just call Apple instead of visiting this store in Westlake, Ohio.
I like the set up of the store - tables designated to sell the various Apple wares with a sales rep to help those around the table in turn. Unfortunately, there are times when customers arrive who make it their life's sole passion to monopolize the time of their salesperson (and by extension of all those in line waiting to talk to the same sales person). During a recent visit, 20 minutes having elapsed watching one of these socially starved customers ask every question about a particular smart watch just shy of inquiring about the blood type of the fellow who attached the winding knob, I had plenty of time to notice several red apple shirted employees lingering along the side walls with noses in their phones not making any attempt to help our verbally hijacked sales person by offering to assist the next in line. I found this even more baffling because this was a few days before Christmas and the crowd seemed especially numerous. I got the impression that we as customers were there at the pleasure of the salesfolk and not the other way around, and that if the customers wanted their valuable assistance, the customer would darned well wait for it. The folks at this store really need find a better system than the current have-everyone-wait-for-one-salesman-while-several-other-free-employees stand-on-the-side-and-watch-their-phones method they're going with now.
Not a long wait. Very helpful. I am not technical person, but they were very patient.
I was taken care of very quickly. My Apple rep Amanda was very knowledgeable and super efficient. She was taking care of 2 customers at a time, talk about multi-tasking. It also helps when workers are nice and have a great personality. I would have no hesitation in going back if/when needed.
Mixed feeling about this place. There’s one time I got there and bought an Apple Watch and was “hosted” nicely. One other time I went there but no one really helped out and asked what I want meanwhile people just standing there talking to each other, I do not know why. This circumstance looked arrogant and snobbish to me as I did not wear fancy jewelries, use latest iPhone and drive a Maserati? Or because of me being an Asian? I do not know. Plus, don’t ever expect you can get any latest iPhone there, they have nothing, not even the watch band that my dad and I want.
