Went there to take a look at my son who had a broken arm due to skateboard accident. He had broken the same arm on same place a year ago so we knew pretty much what to expect, so we basically just went there to have x-rays done to confirm the diagnosis and expected to see the orthopedic doctor to set his arm the next day. Instead, the doctor told us he consulted the main campus orthopedic and that we needed to go to the main campus ER immediatelly to have the arm set in place with anestesia. When we asked the doctor why can't this wait until tomorrow, he looked us in the eye and said: "because you don't want the bone to heal improperly", a flat out lie, as bones take anywhere 4-6 weeks to heal. As a comforting statement they also said we can drive to the main campus, we don't need to take the ambulance?!?! What a relief. Of course we refused to do anything, and went home and saw the orthopedic surgeon next day who set his hand easily and without anestesia. Stay away from this urgent care and UH health system, they are just there to take your money, make things more complicated than what they are and pressure you into making difficult decision on spot. The whole 45 minute visit came out to $205 doctor fee, and $489 for x-rays, a contracted rate with our insurance we'll have to pay as it is part of our deductable. By doing the research online, if we had told them we didn't have insurance and were paying cash, we would have paid half the amount, if not 1/3. That's how much is health care insurance worth in this country, but that is another topic.

If I could give this facility a negative star I would. On 3/10/16 I went to this facility, for treatment of a condition that I was treated for a few weeks prior, but worsened so I went back. I am a 100% disabled veteran of the armed services (Operation Iraqi Freedom). I am also a government employee WITH good health insurance. Needless to say this facility declined to treat me. They sent me away because of a balance of $174 which the reception discussed in an open area in front of other patients, hence HIPPA violation. They said I could pay the balance, or I 'd have to go to another place to be seen, unless I was dying before them. I didn't have any info about what the bill was for, service dates, etc. and not only that, she said there were some things still pending with my insurance company from the last visit, so they really couldn't tell me what I owed, but they weren't treating me until I gave them some money. I have never been turned away from healthcare, and didn't even know this was legal. The nurse explained the an ER can't, but that an urgent care has that right. I am purely disgusted by this, and the attitude of the employees. They treated me as if it was a $3,000 bill, and from the looks of things treated who the wanted to treat. I have served this country, and suffered from it, and can't even get health care in my own city of residence.

I do not currently have a primary physician which is way I made the decision to go this urgent care. I have had numerous sinus infections in my life and was having all of the same symptoms. I was seen by Dr. Ward who told me it was allergy related and would not prescribe me anything to help. I have not gotten any better and called back to speak with Dr. Ward. This urgent care does not allow you to speak with the Doctor you saw and I was told I would need to pay for another appointment to be re-evaluated. I will not be wasting my time on this facility again. Call the Cleveland Clinic to schedule a same day appointment instead of going to this facility!!!!

My first time going to an urgent care, was pleased to find a UH branded one so close to me. Turned out to be my least satisfying experience ever as a customer of medicine. I played with a friend's sick kid early Sunday, then the next morning wake up with shortness of breath and chest pains. Later that day my friend advised me that his kid was just then diagnosed with a bacterial pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics. Not wanting to infect my very pregnant wife, I decide to nip it in the bud and go in. After waiting three hours to be seen, Dr. Hileman disregards my concerns about my wife and baby and refuses to treat me for anything but asthma symptoms unless I go spend hundreds of dollars on a chest x-ray out of pocket. I understand wanting to preserve the efficacy of antibiotics by not overprescribing them, but the circumstantial case for doing so here should have been strong enough. Instead he put it on me by making me choose whether or not to spend a bunch of money I don't have on an x-ray scan that really shouldn't have been required. Never going back to a UH facility unless emergency circumstances don't allow any choice.

Waited awhile on a Sunday; however was seen by an experienced Doctor not a Physician Assistant
